In 2008, two of the world’s leading commercial vehicle brands in the transportation industry, VOLVO and EICHER came together to form VECV.

Both had unique expertise and diverse strengths. However, they had a common vision which is driving the modernisation in the commercial transportation in the developing world.

The Volvo Group brought its global expertise and world class technology while Eicher brought Engineering expertise and the knowledge of the developing markets requirements. In the past five years the flagship brand has enjoyed tremendous market success. It has revolutionised the commercial transport industry and has grown from strength to strength

Eicher is now ready to truly revolutionise the commercial vehicle industry by leading the way to prosperity.

In Zimbabwe VECV has partnered with Duly’s in the distribution and maintenance of its Eicher trucks and buses.
