IN what could be the most romantic, special and extraordinary way to celebrate Valentine’s Day, prominent Mutare lawyer, Mr Misheck Mugadza, has organised a potentially-explosive Mutare Get Together Daylight Valentine and Business Bonanza to be held at the summit of the scenic Christmas Pass Mountains tomorrow (Saturday).

Couples, individuals and businesspeople will mix business with pleasure for the whole day as they spend quality time feeling a different altitude and fresh breeze at the apex of the majestic Christmas Pass Mountain.

Among other themes, the event is meant to celebrate love and create a platform for businesspeople in Mutare to come together and build synergies.

The event will start at 10am with a short church service for the couples. Selected pastors will deliver lectures on marriage issues and companies will be accorded a chance to advertise their brands, products and services through local radio station, Diamond FM which will be broadcasting live.

Outstanding couples in categories such as oldest couple, youngest couple, most indifferent couple, best dressed couple among others will receive prizes.

“Guests will have an ideal time to have fun while building synergies. This is also an opportune time for companies to market their brands as there will be five minutes for each organisation slated to advertise their products and services.

“This will be a Valentine’s Day with a difference where business, love and pleasure will be mixed. The event is open to couples, businesspeople, professionals, civil servants and senior civil servants among others,” said Mr Mugadza.

Couples will join in singing and dancing as revered wheel spinners led by DJ Craig and jazz crooners, Njerere and Steve Chikotie will take turns to provide entertainment.

Cars will be parked at Caravan Park at 9am and transport up the mountain will be available to ferry people to the boosters’ peak area. Guests are allowed to bring their own refreshments although there will be refreshments available on cash bar as well as braai facilities.

Dress code will be smart red. Couples will part with $40, while organisations will purchase tables for five couples for $200.

At night, guests will descend to Wise Owl Motel for an all night party where Chikotie will carry the guests through with some cool jazz beats.

This will entitle the companies to market themselves through banners, flyers and T-shirts among other things.

Those who intend to be part of the unique event should pay the amounts by today in cash, swipe or bank transfer in B Ndiringepi’s CBZ Bank account Mutare Branch, account number 63161276700014.
