Three Chipinge burglars nabbed

DETECTIVES in Chipinge have arrested three villagers in connection with several burglary cases in which they stole an assortment of electrical gadgets around Chako Business Centre.

The trio, Advance Ngwenya (24), Joshua Chikepe (25) and Patrick Mugabi (30), all of Village A under Chief Mapungwana are expected to appear in court soon on unlawful entry charges.

Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Chipinge spokesperson, Detective Assistant Inspector Mhini Daniel confirmed the arrests.

“The suspects broke burglar bars of the windows and gained entry into storerooms at Tazviona Primary School and Chimana Primary School on different occasions.

“They stole two Phillips computer processing units, one Dell monitor, two HP computer monitor, one Dell central processing unit (CPU), two HP keyboards, six computer mouses, one Nashua MP161 photocopier, on HP laptop, one HP CPU, one HP monitor, one 300 watts solar panel, one 100 watts polestar solar panel, one 12 volts Narada Solar battery, one inventor and one solar charger,” he said.
