Q:  You Use The Book of Mormon In your church. Why?

A: The Book of Mormon is another witness of Jesus Christ. In the Book we learn “the Testimony of 2 Nations is a witness unto you that I am God,” (2 Nephi 29:8) meaning the Book of Mormon is meant to increase our knowledge of God.

Q: Who wrote the Book of Mormon and when?

A: It was originally written, just as the Bible, by prophets who wrote their revelations from God and His teachings over many centuries. Most of the Book of Mormon was written between 600 B.C. and A.D. 400. It was translated by the “gift and power of God” by a modern prophet named Joseph Smith who published it in 1830.

Q: Isn’t The Bible Enough? Why Do You Need Another Book?

A: Nothing can replace the Bible, it teaches us many things that are very important. The Book of Mormon does not take anything away from the Bible, it only adds to our knowledge of Christ. The Book of Mormon goes hand-in-hand with the Bible teaching us not only what we need to do, but how we can go to Heaven.

The Book of Mormon answers that question. In 3 Nephi 11:23-27 Jesus Christ Himself teaches us the proper mode of baptism. This is only one example.

Q: Why should I read Book of Mormon?

A: The Book of Mormon has influenced the lives of millions of people around the world for good, by bringing them closer to Christ. From many places in the Bible we know that Jesus Christ suffered for our sins and died to save all mankind. In the Book of Mormon we learn more about His experience performing the atonement such as; what it means for us, and how it can
