As if perennially being at the top of the nation in academic performance is not enough, St Faith’s has ‘trespassed’ into new territories of conquest. In a letter from the National Aids Council now with The Manica Post dated 1 November 2017, signed by Chief Executive Officer Dr T. Magure, Fisco has harvested a bumper-crop of big prizes for winning the 2017 NAC National School Quiz Competition: one laptop, one Projector, one PA System, one digital camera, one Generator, one large-size trophy, 4 Kindle (e-readers) and 4 gold medals for winning students.

Part of the congratulatory letter from the National Aids Council-Zimbabwe reads:

“The National Aids Council-Zimbabwe and the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education, together with all our partners would like to congratulate you and your team in winning the first prize in the National School Quiz Competition under the High School category…

Thank you for supporting Youth Empowerment in Life Skills, Sexuality, HIV and AIDS in national response.”

Just in case you thought St Faith’s was only a powerhouse of academic excellence! This is a school whose appetite for the best is insatiable. As if even this were not enough, Fisco, as it is passionately called by its erstwhile students and those who love it, are also number one in the 2017 High Schools’ Public Speaking and Debating in Zimbabwe. Do not miss a full focus feature on the inimitable St Faith’s in next week’s edition of The Manica Post.
