WHAT is this that we hear about this popular city barber who was caught exchanging niceties with a married woman in his car?
While we all thought this is peculiar to that rotten apple in our respected force as well as that other pot bellied thick skinned meat retailer, it was not long before our dear barber added his name in the Hall of Shame.
Unlike the other two villains whose victims seem docile, our dear barber got a lesson a lesson of a lifetime when the husband employed vigilante justice and hired hooligans who bashed him and only God knows whether our dear barber is now able to wake up, bath and handle the shaving machine once again.
All along Yours Truly thought that he is one person who concentrates on shaving his clients, little did we know that that he also has this open zip closed mind approach to sexual matters.
Maybe Yours Truly needs some help but truth be told, Blabber still can’t find cogent reason to date a married woman.
Blabber is a bit surprised about the married woman in question given that her husband is well known diamond dealer and Yours Truly thought she has more than enough in her pantry.
Anyway, such are the weaknesses of the fairer sex, biblical Eve taught us so.
But being Shona that Yours Truly is, the old adage that “Nyama yesoro inoda ngeyako” (Do unto others as you like do unto you) is enough to teach us that married women are a no go area.
With all these single women around let alone those unattached ladies of questionable morals, why nag married women? Who says gods don’t
Yours Truly is only bent on preserving the little that remains of our moral fabric and this is the reason that Blabber will never retreat nor surrender when it comes to shenanigans of our opinion leaders and popular personalities in our beloved city. Lest you forget gentle reader, there are no sacred cows in this game.
However, Blabber is African and we were taught at early age that good things deserve praise and the bad deserve scorn.
In the same breadth, Blabber will be the first to congratulate this lady who had featured on this column for the wrong reasons but seems to have finally settled with a respected and famous legal practitioner based in the capital.
She has the looks and Blabber will never dispute that. She was once married to this other deceased popular diamond dealer whom many remember for his rags to riches story.
That she has always been generous with the forbidden fruit, we all know. But we are happy that she has finally found someone to settle with, elderly though.
Word reaching Yours Truly is that she is getting married to this other popular legal practitioner based in that city where they never sleep.
A birthday bash was recently hosted for her in a neighbouring country financed by our learned colleague.
Folks, please don’t be jealous and do the honorable thing of congratulating and wishing her a happy life ever after!
