Senegal will pitch camp in the Congolese capital of Brazzaville for a fortnight ahead of Afcon 2017 that will be held in neighbouring Gabon from January 14 to February 5.

The Lions of Teranga will converge in Brazzaville after Christmas with head coach Aliou Cisse expecting a full squad to commence preparations for a title challenge.

“We shall camp in Congo because it is next to Gabon so it is the same conditions and we shall also have a friendly with Congo,” said Cire Soumare, the Senegal Head of Media in an exclusive interview with supersport.com.
