In a suspected case of murder a Rusape man was last week found dead in pool of blood with a deep cut on the head.
Knowledge Binha (26) of Musungambira village Headman Matsika was found by passersby in the morning with blood oozing from his head.
Manicaland police spokesperson Inspector Tavhiringwa Kakohwa confirmed the matter and appealed to the members of public for information that would lead to the arrest of the suspected culprits.
“On 12 September 2018 Binha left home around 10am going to a local bar. He did not return home the same day. The following day he was seen drinking beer at a different bar and that was the last time he was seen buying some cigarettes. On 14 September 2018, around 6 am he was found lying dead in a pool of blood by the road side. A police report was made and they attended the scene. He had a deep cut on the head left side.
Insp Kakohwa said police suspected that he was hit by a sharp object. He had a broken scalp close to the ear above the left eye. He was also bleeding from ear and mouth.
“We are appealing to members of the public with information that leads to the arrest of the culprits to contact the nearest police station, said Insp Kakohwa.
