AFRO-pop group Real Eeez, Emmanuel and Enock Ngarakana have released a well-scripted music video of the hit song ‘‘Nhamo’’. The video was produced by Philip and Shirley Hitchhmann. Hearing the song title ‘‘Nhamo’’, one will assume the usual wearing of rags and showing a poverty stricken person but thumbs up to the Ngarakana brothers for thinking outside the box and managed to bring out a unique concept.

The video starts with Real Eeez as Secret Service Intelligence raiding the notorious Nhamo. Well equipped with guns wearing what looked like bullet proof vests carefully entering Nhamo’s place, they forced their way through Nhamo’s door who is visibly shocked. They finally killed Nhamo. Asked the meaning behind the video, Emmanuel said Nhamo refers to any bad situation.

“The title Nhamo refers to any bad thing, it might be poverty. The symbolic meaning of the raid and ultimate killing of Nhamo signals how a person should be well equipped with courage, patience and vision to face daily challenges and come out victorious. It was not easy at all as we had to seek training from kickboxing star Knowledge Nyamhoka who trained us to come up with a well polished act. We even imported our unique black and white outfits from Germany.

“We have so many plans. We are going to take Zimbabwe music on another level and people are already appreciating our music. Nicknames are already coming some labelling us the Zim P square,” he said.

The duo said they were greatly inspired by dendera heir Sulu Chimbetu. They added that they are working on a track together with Chimbetu. They added that Chimbetu is the one who discovered their gift. Sulu Chimbetu praised the duo and said that he foresees a bright future ahead.

“The guys are very talented and doing well. Their future is very bright and I will continue to work with them. We are currently working on a song together after Mudariro which we did together in 2015,” said Chimbetu.

The duo said that they are getting full support from their family.
