HOUSE of Grace International Church leader Prophet Sham Hungwe has promised to expose witches and wizards during his “Rest in Peace” crusade slated for Sakubva Stadium tonight.

Prophet Sham Hungwe, who has held similar crusades in Harare and Bulawayo attracting thousands of people, has also promised to call witches and wizards from surrounding areas to come and confess to their “deeds” during the course of the night. The Harare-based prophet said he had called them before and tonight God would unleash its power at Sakubva Stadium where he also promised to heal people with different ailments.

“We all know that bad things happen in life. It is because everyone in life understands that bad things happen because there will be someone causing them. Even in the Bible, it is there in Exodus where it was written about how other people may cause bad things to happen to someone.

“This time around, during the ‘Rest in Peace’ crusade, we are specifically coming to deal with issues to do with witchcraft. During the crusade, we will call and expose witches and wizards. We want to expose all the witches. A lot of people have suffered because of witchcraft and we are saying this is supposed to come to an end,” he said.

Prophet Sham Hungwe has also called upon people with different ailments who are in different hospitals to attend to his one-on-one healing and deliverance sessions which start tomorrow morning. The House of Grace International Church leader said he would be grateful if such people manage to attend the healing session as God had sent him to end various ailments in Mutare and its environs.

“This is a very important session as we want to end various ailments. We have done it before in Harare and Bulawayo. This time around we are saying people in Mutare come and witness the great things happening during the one-on-one session,” he said. Prophet Sham Hungwe also told The Manica Post that everything was going according to script and they were waiting for the big day.

“All is in place and we are waiting for the big night,” he said.

Mutare-based gospel sensation Blessing Shumba, who is expected to take to the stage during the crusade tonight, promised a blissful event.

“Tonight will be a different night. We are promising a blissful event through song, praise and worship. This is one event that will stick in the minds of many as people will be healed in the name of God. We promise to give our best as we praise and worship during the crusade,” he said.

The Mufaro hitmaker is expected to belt yesteryear and new hits from his discography such as “Mufaro”, “Zita”, “Timene Timene” and “My Season”. Another talented gospel artiste and keyboardist, Munyaradzi Munodawafa, who is currently basking in the glory of his 11-track album, “Mwari Vachitiitira Zvakanaka (Step YeNyasha)”, is also expected to take to the stage during the crusade.
