ROZVI Sports Bar is expected to be a hive of activity when the Mutare Pool League hosts a two-day inter-club one-man tournament tomorrow and Saturday.
Players willing to participate at the tournament are expected to register on Saturday before 2pm.
$3 will be charged for players affiliated to clubs in the Mutare Pool League while late entries will pay $4.
One of the organisers and bar owner, Eddie Gopo said they were ready to host the tournament.
“We would like to thank Mutare business community and stakeholders not forgetting pool players who always make such tournaments successful. We are ready to host the event and we would like to urge pool lovers to come in numbers,” said Gopo.
“All Mutare Pool League players are expected to have a minimum of six players. Competition has always been stiff in such events and we are expecting yet another exhilarating tournament. We would like to thank Mutare business community and stakeholders not forgetting pool players who always make such tournaments successful. We are ready to host the event and we would like to urge pool lovers to come in numbers,” said Gopo.
Outstanding players will walk away with prizes.
Music movement, Tuff Nuff, led by veteran deejay Ranga T, will provide entertainment during the potentially-exciting tournament which is expected to draw pool players from across Mutare.
