CROWD-FAVOURITE pole dancer Pinkie Minaj has promised to bring her A-game when she returns for a once-off performance at Flavatown Nite Club in Palmerstone tonight (Friday).
The popular entertainer is back at the city joint due to public and popular demand.
Without giving away much in order to have revellers throng the pub for first-hand experience, the fast-rising pole dancing sensation hinted that she has a pleasant and surprise treat for her Mutare fan-base, which has been steadily growing over time.
“Since I first performed here, I have been encouraged by both the reception and appreciation extended to me, especially here at Flavatown, that I feel obliged to return the favour by giving a polished performance. To that end, on Friday (tonight) I shall be showcasing new moves never seen before because the patrons of that place deserve the best and am certainly going to offer that.
“This, therefore, is going to be one memorable show because besides the regular routines that they are already familiar with, revellers should be geared for something new, interesting and exciting that nothing will be the same again,” she told The Weekender from her Harare base.
And it is difficult to doubt the talented choreographer Pinkie Minaj as she always puts up spectacular shows each time she takes to the stage and has hardly been a disappointment.
So captivating have been her acts that she has grown to be one of the leading players and has changed the pole dancing landscape.
The venue, meanwhile, is growing into something of a convergence zone for revellers who prefer to enjoy their weekend outings in the opulence of uptown clubs. Besides the entertainment activity, Flavatown now offers a feel-good factor with its salivating dishes; especially the Tshisa Nyama Gango Club, a braai and binge fête which starts in the afternoon and runs late into the night.
Recently, the leisure hot-spot hosted a double-dosage fiesta of rhumba and pole dancing when internationally-acclaimed wheel spinner DJ Ben and Dangerous Divas teamed up for non-stop action.
This weekend activity is set to go into overdrive, with Pinkie Minaj being the star attraction for the weekend’s main-event.
