True to this, a Chikanga woman who had had enough of her husband’s promiscuous ways decided to revenge by shooting pornographic videos with her lover. The Mapises’ marriage is in tatters after the husband, Pastor Mapise, a cleric with an Anglican church in Harare, came across two pornographic videos and several nude pictures in his wife’s phone.
In an interview with The Weekender, the wife, who only identified herself as Mai Mapise, said there was no proof to show that it was her in the video since faces were not shown. “I only did it to fix him as he has subjected me to a lot of emotional abuse in the 11 years that we were married. “The videos and pictures that he found in my phone were not even mine, but because he is in possession of such videos of himself and his lovers in his phone I retaliated. I have had enough of his promiscuous ways.”
She labelled her husband a fake man of God who slept around with different women. She showed The Weekender several chats which she said were between her husband and his lovers. “I have been waiting for a long time for this article to be published and have been buying the paper religiously since last year. “I do not care if you put my name or my pictures in the paper or on the street posters because I am not a celebrity. Rather he is the one with the reputation that will be damaged since he claims to be a man of God,” she said.

In an unsolicited interview, the man of cloth, Peter Mapise, said he came across the pornographic videos of his wife being intimate with one of their flock’s husband as he browsed through the phone. He alleged that the affair came to light in December last year after his wife gave him her phone to clear the gallery as her Whatsapp was not functioning well. The pastor received a shock of his life when he came across the videos.
“I have two pornographic videos in my possession which were shot on different occasions. “She confessed that she was in an adulterous affair since October 2015. “However, the evidence that I have suggest that the affair began sometime in 2014,” he said.
