INTEGRATED financial services company, Old Mutual, last week opened a new one stop shop branch offering their main financial and banking services under their green zone concept as well as the refurbished CABS Mutare Branch.
Speaking at the official opening of the new branch, Old Mutual Zimbabwe group chief executive officer and Old Mutual Rest of Africa CEO, Mr Jonas Mushosho said the opening of the Mutare green zone branch marked a continued commitment to serving their customers.
“Customer centricity is not just a buzz phrase for us at Old Mutual, it is a philosophy that drives our business and will ensure our long term viability along with improved customer experiences,” said Mr Mushosho.
The company, which recently refreshed its brand identity, said research had proven that customers preferred to have all their financial services under one roof. The Old Mutual green zones offer life assurance, short term insurance, investment and CABS banking services amongst other products.
Mr Mushosho said the green zone concept took advantage of Old Mutual’s wide range of integrated financial services to provide a unique and convenient client centred experience under one roof.
“Our use of green zones helps us as Old Mutual to consolidate the sum total of our otherwise individual financial business unit strengths and offer an integrated customer service centre of excellence,” he said.
The green zone concept has been used in other centres across the country with the Mutare branch being the seventh with an eighth soon to be officially commissioned in Chinhoyi.
During their 2018 half year analyst briefing, Old Mutual announced an operating profit of $34, 3 million representing a growth of 27 percent for the first half of the year.
