I am a 19-year-old girl with a very big problem in my heart. My mother does not love me and I do not understand why she does the things she does to me.
I am not her only child, but it is as clear as daylight that the woman that gave birth to me hates me. All my efforts from childhood are met with aggression or are just unappreciated. Sometimes I think that maybe I was born by someone else and left in her guardianship. I desire to have a good and loving relationship with her, but it is difficult to forget the beatings, verbal insults, negligence and public humiliation. When I get married I just want to leave and never come back.

You feel that your problem is in your heart because the desire in you is to be loved and to feel loved. Relationships are complicated by events that are left unaddressed and unresolved.
Something has put a wedge between you and your mummy, but believe me my darling, mummy loves you, ok! Believe me when I say that people who love each other the most also tend to hurt each other the most. Be patient with your mother, she probably has her own story eating her away and biting into her love for you. If we all shared our story, the burden would be lighter and the world would be a better place.
Find time to tell your mother that you love her, she is beautiful and that you appreciate her. One day her tear drop may fall and you will learn that it is just pain that was saturating her heart, but her actions were only founded in love. Going away is not the solution. Be there with and for her. Smile!
Love is patient.
