Zanu PF Harare Provincial Women’s League arrived in Mutare Friday morning with a convoy of 12 buses enroute to Chimoio shrine in Mozambique to have an insight on how freedom fighters were brutally massacred by the Rhodesian Forces.
Zanu PF Harare Province Women’s League Chairperson, Cde Ratidzo Mukarati told The Manica Post that 12 buses carrying 750 women were travelling to Mozambique for the tour.
Welcoming the touring party at Meikles Park in Mutare, Manicaland Minister of State for Provincial Affairs,Cde Monica Mutsvangwa wished them a safe journey.
“ This is a very good initiative and it is important as it brings people closer to their history,” said Cde Mutsvangwa.
