Barbara Vhengedza From My Heart
Dear Tete
A few years ago my beloved wife fell ill and died under what may seem to be mysterious circumstances to minds that are un- educated about medical issues. My wife suffered a severe stroke and then a heart attack two days later. She was young, but that is how it happened. Unfortunately, people have continuously been questioning my success which came to fruition soon after her death. Perhaps it was God’s way of comforting a poor grieving man’s soul.
I hear what they say and it breaks my heart. I am ever grieving over my lover’s lost life, but I have mine to live. Why can they not just leave me alone to move on in peace?
Tete Responds:
I am sorry for your loss. It is sad indeed when torture is placed on top of injury, but that is sadly how some humans behave. Sometimes, people talk willy-nilly not thinking about the pain they may be causing on another not because they are cruel, but because they do not know your story. Wealth does not grow mysteriously overnight. It is a product of hard work and investment made over time. You know the truth. Let it set you free from the fabricated accusations. Stop grieving, be happy and move on.
