CELEBRATED wheel spinners, DJ Hollies B and DJ Ranga T have partnered to rejuvenate old school sessions at fast-rising entertainment centre, PaMai Ruva Restaurant situated at the heart of Mutare’s city centre.

The formidable combination is set to liven up the usually dreary Saturdays and Sundays at the venue with a classic playlist of local and foreign golden oldies.

The sessions which started last weekend will see the two artistes taking turns to entertain imbibers and music lovers especially the grown up.

In what could be Mutare’s own version of Judgement Yard or Kenyan dancehall ensemble, Black Supremacy, the two will also co-host request shows for revellers every Saturday.

In an interview, the veteran DJ Ranga who boasts of more than 20 years on the turntables, said the concept targets the grown up who haven’t stopped having fun.

“We have a catalogue of jazz, reggae, punk rock, sungura and gospel hits among other genres that will take music lovers down memory lane. We were overwhelmed by the response we got when we mooted the concept last weekend and we are looking forward to hosting more blissful weekends,” he said.

Hollies B chipped in: “It is a development that we believe will draw more music lovers particularly the mature ones. We realised that most pleasure seekers are accustomed to new and fresh music and are usually starved of some hits which rocked the showbiz years ago.”
