MUTARE headquartered Family Faith Church is expecting thousands of guests to attend its crossover prayer night set for December 31 at Dangamvura Beit Hall.

FFC founder, Prophet Brighton Gweru and guest speaker said preparations for the event are now at an advanced level.

He said the event is most likely to be oversubscribed judging by the response shown so far.

A number of guests from South Africa, Mozambique and within Zimbabwe have already confirmed their presence on the day.

The event shall be based on Exodus 6 v 6 which reads “Therefore, say to the Israelites. I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the yoke of the Egyptians. I will free you from being slaves to them, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with mighty acts of judgment.”

It marks the beginning of 2017 where all problems encountered in 2016 shall be prayed for, to remain in 2016.

It is open to anyone as people will be receiving healing, deliverance and witnessing miracles just like any other years.

Prophet Gweru has been holding cross over prayer nights since 2013 on December 31 to prepare for the New Year.

“We have been holding the cross over night every year from 2013 when the FFC started. It is a free of admission event and many have had demons cast out, receive deliverance and healing free of admission. Congregants from any other churches are most welcome to witness miracles, free of admission.

“Our church members from Chipinge and Mt Jenya will travel to this side for the event. We also have members from Mozambique and South Africa who shall be part of the cross over night vigil,” said Prophet Gweru.

He urged people from all over Zimbabwe and beyond, to come in their numbers and rejoice God as they celebrate the New Year. Mrs Yunisi Kachemwe, one of the church members testified on how she got healed at the Family Faith Church.

“I urge my dear brothers to come to the crossover night and have our problems solved. There is no amount of problem that God cannot solve. I was diagnosed with diabetes three weeks ago and I thought that was the end of my life. I went to FFC and prophet prayed for me and advised me not to take any medication but instead go back to the doctors and have another test. Surprisingly the same doctors told me that I had no diabetes in my body anymore. Come and witness the work of God during this day, dear friends,” said Mrs Kachemwe.

The church now has branches in Mutare, Mt Jenya and Chipinge.
