HELLO there everyone, how are you all? This week I am doing a follow up on a subject I was asked about “wedding anniversaries”.It got my interest and when I get excited about something, I want to share it. So I did my research and here is a list and brief explanation of the different anniversaries that we celebrate universally.

So someone asked me what a wedding anniversary is. To some, that is crazy, but if one has not grown up around these things being discussed, how would one knows? The answer my dear is simple.

A wedding anniversary is the anniversary of the date a wedding took place.

On a wedding anniversary in many countries it is traditional to give a gift to your partner (or couples) that symbolises the number of years of marriage.

The names of some wedding anniversaries provide guidance for appropriate or traditional gifts for the spouses to give each other. If there is a party to celebrate the wedding anniversary these gifts can be brought by guests and/or influence the theme or decoration of the venue.

Further more in many countries they add a symbol and a flower to the gift material, so I thought it would be great to give you the whole package. It won’t hurt you to know everything about each anniversary.

In fact you will look extremely educated in the matter the next time you bring your friends and family together to discuss the anniversary you want to celebrate. Here are the most common wedding anniversaries that are celebrated across the world.
