SIBLINGS, Dboi and Sparxx, fondly known as Diamond Boys have started preparing for their fairytale maiden tour of the United Kingdom by holding live shows across the country.The boys will hold live gigs in Birmingham, Luton and Manchester in the UK from August 26 – 28 in a tour dubbed: “UK Summer Invasion 2016”.
Renowned Zim-dancehall musicians, Shinsoman, Tocky Vibes, Freeman, Fungisai, Killa Trilla, Ninja Lipsy, Empress Shelly and Nick Kuraz are also part of the tour.
The duo – real names, Desmond (Dboi) and Dereck (Sparxx) Gopo – have described the development as a milestone achievement which would propel their musical career to dizzy heights.
The two will hold one of their farewell shows at entertainment joint, Club Mandisa tomorrow (Saturday) before several other gigs on later dates.
The fun-packed weekend will also see Potipher Mopo sharing the stage with dendera rookie, Douglas Chimbetu at the same venue on Sunday.
“We are happy. At least some people are appreciating our works and we feel motivated. This is good for our experience and confidence. We are raring to go. We will hold a series of live shows before we fly to the UK. We would like to thank our fans as well as promoters for supporting us. We will take tomorrow’s gig to market the newly-released song, Rhumba Ya which we did with Roki,” said Dboi.
The Dangamvura-born budding musicians are currently riding high with their debut album, Energy with the title track being the most popular.
