THE country’s best supported football outfit, Dynamos will be in Mutare tomorrow (Saturday) as part of their preseason preparations where they will face Eastern Region Division One teams, Mutare City Rovers and Africa Trust.
The curtain raising match will feature Mutare City Rovers against one of the two teams that Dynamos will be bringing to Mutare starts at 1pm before Africa Trust engages the Harare giants at 3pm.

Fans will pay $1 at the turnstiles to watch the two matches.

Dynamos gaffer, Lloyd ‘Samaita’ Mutasa confirmed that his team will be travelling to Mutare for the two friendly matches to be played on the same day.

Mutasa also confirmed that former Buffaloes goalkeeper, Blessing Mandimutsira, has joined the Harare giants and will be competing for the number one jersey with Ashley Reyners and Tonderai Mateyaunga.

“Yes, we have made plans to come to Mutare on Saturday. Our preparations are going on well and we are happy that we have youngsters who are eager to take Dynamos to another level. I think I can say so far so good.

“We now have a full house and ready to turn the corner. I foresee better days for DeMbare. I can confirm that we now have Blessing Mandimutsira within our ranks. He is from Buffaloes and will have to compete between the sticks with Ashley Reyners and Tonderai Mateyaunga.

“We actually have two good teams that can compete at any given level including another reserve side that also has talented players who might end up making it into the first team,” said the Dynamos coach.

Both Mutare City Rovers and Africa Trust have not hidden their Premiership promotion aspirations, thus Saturday’s matches could be exciting.

Mutare City Rovers are fine tuning their squad after being relegated from their Premiership last season and will now be hoping to make a quick return to the top-flight league.

On the other hand, Africa Trust, the team which gave many Eastern Region Division One league heavyweights headaches last season, is also geared to bring Premiership football to Watsomba area where they are using the James Mwonzora Stadium at St Mathias Tsonzo High as their home ground.
