Dare not an iniquity catalyst

Evangelist Peter Madondo
EVER since the devil lost his place in heaven and casted down on earth he has never stopped wreaking havoc among humanity. He has used various tactics in trying to lure, compel or force many into his kingdom.

It is expressly clear that the devil has mastered the art of drawing many into his kingdom consciously or unknowingly. So many agents have been planted by the devil around our lives. Let us always be on the watch for such characters among ourselves. Not only be watchful, but always be sure that we do not ourselves become the devil’s advocates.

Proverbs 28:10: “Whoso causeth the righteous to go astray in an evil way, he shall fall himself into his own pit, but the upright shall have good things in possession.”

It is not a secret that when one is fully possessed by the devil he goes guns blazing in trying to recruit as many as possible into the kingdom of darkness. It really takes the spiritually balanced to stand and overcome the test. The Proverbs writer reiterates that woe unto him who drags the righteous into sinful ways for he himself will fall into the pit.

I am challenging you today to resist the devil and he will flee from you, James 4:7. Resistance simply implies putting an opposing force. While the devil might be obsessed by trying to make you his agents, it needs spiritual maturity to have the guts of saying “Get behind me Satan”(Matthew 16:23).

Many people have yielded to the enticing temptations of the devil and before they realised they morphed into gurus in incorporating many into the kingdom of demise.

Have you ever seen the tremendous speed our girl child will fly with into promiscuity and prostitution in a way an ordinary person will never comprehend that but that is how the devil operates, capitalising on the slightest of chances and making sure that he gets you to spread the rot as fast as possible.

I am expecting you to be weary of what l have just mentioned. A wrongful thought was planted in our minds thousands of years ago that the devil is disgusting and detestable to the eye, ear and nose. That is a myopic thinking. All you need to do is to be watchful because Lucifer can be the hottest dude around you or the most mesmerising lady who never stops turning heads. Beautiful as he might appear he is a roaring lion seeking whom to devour 1Peter 5:8

Whatever state you could be, I encourage to resist becoming a devil’s conduit of fanning iniquity among God’s people. If humanity is going to be judged for their transgression God forbid you be part of the catalysts to spiritual and moral decadence of his people.

Habakkuk 2:15: “Woe unto him that giveth his neighbour that puttest thy bottle to him and makest him drunken also, that thou mayest look on his nakedness.”

This is another way the devil can ride upon the shoulders of many unknowingly. While we may appear to be doing a good gesture in the sight on men, God says woe unto him that gives his neighbour alcohol so that you may see his stupidity, insanity or nakedness. It is only wise that we refrain from being the devil’s advocates and live an upright life. It is rather better to be judged for our own shortcomings than compounding our demise by taking another disgusting responsibility of being the devil incarnate.

It is the prerogative of every Christian that we become our brothers’ keeper than being a pathway to demise (Genesis 4:9). Whatever you say, whatever you do just make sure that it brings peace and grace to those who hear you. Let us edify one another. Resist the devil and he will flee from you (James 4:7).
