HILARIOUS comedian Sekuru Zvambu whose real name is Jabulani Sigauke of the Bag Rabvaruka fame has been arrested and appeared in court facing allegations of sexually abusing his step daughter.
Sigauke (29) who was not represented appeared before Rusape provincial magistrate, Mr Shane Kubonera last week who did not ask him to plead and advised him to apply for bail at the High Court.
Public prosecutor, Ms Event Dhliwayo, told the court that on three different occasions Sigauke took advantage of the absence of the juvenile’s mother to sexually abuse her.
The matter came to light when the complainant told her biological father of the alleged abuse.
“On 25 March 2018 during the night Sigauke woke up and went into complainant’s room and sneaked into her blankets while complainant was asleep. Complainant woke up and Sigauke went away for a while. Accused person sneaked again into complainant’s blankets and gagged her mouth before proceeding to abuse her.”
