AFTER a commendable display of solidarity when CAPS United fans in Harare hosted an end of year awards ceremony for players, their counterparts in Mutare will converge at a get together function slated for (tomorrow) Saturday at Pick and Save Superrete.

The meeting, which is expected to be graced by a CAPS United board member or club director, Farai Jere, is an end of season annual gathering which Caps United fans in Mutare have always organised at the end of each year.

In an interview, CAPS United Supporters’ Association Mutare Chapter secretary, Brighton Mkwate, who was flanked by his chairman, Taurai Saunyama and patron, Ruramai Nyakonga, confirmed that they will be meeting at Pick and Save on Saturday.

“We will have a get together on Saturday at Pick and Save here in Mutare. Though it is not yet finalised, we are expecting to have a CAPS United board member or even club director, Farai Jere during the function.

“This is meant to let fans know each other and network. We might also have some Caps United players attending the event especially Phineas Bhamusi who is based here,” said Mkwate.
