MUTARE has given birth to a new hip-hop artiste by the name Isaac Grivis.
The budding rapper entered the industry by dropping a soulful album, True Love last week. The album which is laden with love songs carries tracks such as Rudo, My Heart and Why Waenda
The 20-year-old hip-hop artiste said he sings about issues that affect youths in their day-to-day living.
“For me, music is reality. It lives in people and it has great power that can affect the mind, heart and soul. I intend to inspire listeners by singing about issues that affect them everyday such as betrayal, love, hatred and deception. The album also carries love stories that will be refreshing to married and unmarried couples,” said Grivis.
“Music motivates me to study after my school period and now as an entrepreneur who runs a small business at home, my music career helps me sustain that enterprise,” he added.
Since the release of his album, Grivis hopes to stage live shows locally and nationwide to popularise his brand, while attracting sponsors.
