EROTIC dancer, Bev and the Sexy Angels, Talking Guitars and Freddy “Kapfupi” Manjalima will headline this Easter’s loaded entertainment calendar at Club Mandisa.

After hosting a fairly successful Hwindi President show last weekend, this weekend’s shows are likely to draw scores of fans who fancy a blend of genres such as sungura and jazz.

Harare-based outfit, Talking Guitars will curtain up the busy weekend with a gig on Friday while controversial dancer, Bev and the Sexy Angels will jump on stage on Saturday.

Comedian-cum-musician Kapfupi and Orchestra Ndozvo will serenade sungura music lovers on Monday. The three outfits will be backed by dance ensembles, Starlite and Mandisa Queens as well as resident wheel spinners, Silvibes Entertainment.

Although Talking Guitars is expected to put the house on fire, all eyes will be on the Sexy Angels leader, Bev.

The waist-wriggling dancer always spices up her performances with new and improved dances whenever he jumps on stage.

The last time she performed at the same venue, the Sexy Angels leader pulled a shocker when she called herself ‘Mai Muridzo’ several times particularly before or after dancing to a song. Her sexually-arousing dances kept revellers, particularly men glued to the stage. She said “Seka zvako Mai Muridzo” several times during the show.

She danced to Muridzo’s hits, Dherira and Dhafu dhunda like she was demon-possessed before she later said, “Ndozvinoita Mai Muridzo” much to the amusement of the appreciative crowd.

This will be Kapfupi’s maiden gig at the venue and he is expected to spice up his act with some unique dancing antics and rib-cracking jokes.

He usually fuses drama and music on stage. Some of his popular songs include the award-winning hit, Mai Nga, Uchakanga waya, Chocolate yemajuru, Chirere chigokurerawo and Chikwama chababa.

“We are looking forward to hosting successful shows. This is a special package for patrons and fun lovers this Easter and Independence holidays. It’s all systems go. All shows start at 9pm,” said show organisers.
