Evangelist Peter Madondo —
Slowly but certainly we are tittering towards the extinction of the year 2016. While it is common knowledge that we had moments of immense challenges it is not a secret that there were also jovial moments.

All be it may whether in pains or gains in tears of agony or tears of joy, we say farewell 2016.

All this is hinged on time, Ecclesiastes 3 says “to everything there is a season and a time to every purpose. . . “ Solomon arguably the wisest man to step foot on our beloved planet earth portrays his undoubted wisdom in summarising that there is a time for everything.

One thing certain is that God despite having made others to be prosperous than the other, there are some common traits that he made universal to humanity. Has it ever crossed you mind that the poor exist in the same hour with the rich. If it is ten o’clock to the poor so it is to the rich.

Furthermore the most important common denominator that Yahweh placed amongst mankind is found in Deutronomy 30:15 “See I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil”. Irrespective of the magnitude of good and bad everyone has been previlledged with a time to enjoy and time to endure bad moments.

I write this piece with a hope to encourage you to be vigilant and wise enough that we may be able to interpret times in our lives. Fools will surely rejoice during a time of mourning and vice versa.1 Chronicles 12: 32 “And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of time, to know what Israel ought to do. . .”

Do you really know what to do with your time.

As we all wait to embrace the fresh new year. Let us be like the children of Issachar who knew what ought to be done at specific given times. One sure recipe for demise is failure to do what should be done at a given time.

I pray we should not spoil the fresh year by failing to understand times in our environs. I am speaking about you School Children because exam time will surely come, I am speaking to lazy for time to work has beckoned, cheaters time to be faithful is around and all evil doers a time to repent has been presented to you.

Is it a tedious task to take an opportunity to renew our unrighteous ways of life. Time is moving and every tick of a second is sure confirmation we are tip toeing towards our graves. What legacy will we live. Ephesians 5:16 “Redeeming the time because the days are evil.”

Apostle Paul despite speaking to a different audience centuries back, the statement is still as effective today. These are times we should join the melee on the exit of sin.

Days are evil and the Devil is leaving no stone unturned ensuring that he keeps humanity under the shackles of sin. The Devil is a roaring lion seeking many to devour (1 Peter 5:8) and failure to read the times will certainly make one a prey.

Let me conclude by urging you to be conscious about what happens between the two impregnable times. This is from TIME of birth to the TIME of death.

This is a piece of yourself you are leaving for the future generations. Let us be wise enough and use our time in a way that will be envied even when we are long gone.

May the clock not tick in vain, let the clicking sound of the clock be a reminder that time is not on our side hence need to make our ways right before the Almighty. The old adage goes as “Make hay while the sun still shines” and Biblically Jesus’s beloved disciple would say “I must work for him that send ,while it is day. . .” (John 9:4).

When speaking of a night where one will not be able to work , I am simply saying time will come where you will not be able to make right your ways. Sickness may ground you and death may put a halt to your shenanigans.

All these are not pleasant scenarios albeit unavoidable.

Make the new year a year of turnaround and a time to harmonise our relations with our Maker.

Today is the day of Salvation

HAVE A FRUITFUL 2017!!!!!!!!!
